Power Boats For Sale Uk How Big Of A Motor Do I Need On A Boat To Water Ski?

How big of a motor do I need on a boat to water ski? - power boats for sale uk

I want to buy a used boat for family fun in the water. There are some boats with 50 hp motor for sale in my price range, but I'm skeptical that is strong enough, with water-skiing. 50HP engine is sufficient, or should I be greater for something? Thanks

I agree with the poster above.

Much also depends on hull design and of course, the weight ratio consturction The ship itself. Some helmets are more effective at "smoothing" than others.

One of my friends has a boat and a 25 hp Mercury on the back and I was behind the tube (I am 6 foot 4!).

However, I have a ski boat), fiber (double hull, and this is a 80 hp outboard - more than enough for skiing, but that's probably because it is a double hull.

For me, 50hp with 5 people and SK-ng sounds a little on the weak side, imagine how it Ould was disappointed to learn that you can not get a skier out of the hole "?

Save money and at least 75, more is better - Remember that you can not use full power, all the time but can be very useful when you need it most.

Good luck and much success with his new boat.

They have a small piece of information left here. What size boat? If there is a boat is just big enough. When the Queen Mary, nee. I think somewhere between these two extremes.

I think that is enough. Of course, if a boat of 18 meters, which can be strong. We had a pontoon boat back with a 50 hp engine and skiing. If you're heavy, you can make a difference!

If you are 17 19 feet wide and about 200 pounds then I would go with no less than 85 hp.

At fifty you can come back to it with a small step to help attract skiers. How big can spend as much money, how fast you want to go.
