I have a 120 gig Windows computer running Windows 7. Recently had my DVD / CD burner works. Nevertheless, opens and closes, but not all the blanks read that I am where I someone could tell me know one way to do so without starting to appreciate and purchase a new burner to solve.

Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer - Properties - Hardware tab - Device Manager), right-click the drive and select Uninstall. Then restart the computer and let Windows automatically reinstall the drive.
